Who we are
we are BioRegional, a local environmental charity based in Hackbridge.
We’ve set up the Veg Van to help increase access to fresh fruit and veg in the local area.
The venture is completely not-for-profit so any money we make will go into maintaining our lovely Van and making us better!
The Veg Van is part of One Planet Food, a project in partnership with EcoLocal to increase the amount of fresh local produce coming into the borough.
We’re funded by:
The Big Lottery Local Food Fund
The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and
are supported by Southern Railway

The Veg Van brings delicious local seasonal food into Sutton, visiting several locations every week. You can’t miss the brightly-painted electric-powered Veg Van, selling fresh fruit and veg grown on local farms.
Most of the produce is seasonal and locally-grown, wherever possible from Surrey and Kent. Our local sourcing means that our fruit and veg is better for you, better for local farmers and better for the planet.
We’re constantly checking our prices against the major supermarkets to make sure that we provide good food at a good price. And as a not-for-profit enterprise, set up by local charities BioRegional and EcoLocal, we pay our farmers a fair price and pass on any cost savings directly to our customers.
The Veg Van will soon be selling great seasonal fruit and veg grown at Sutton’s first community farm in Wallington. You can’t get much closer to home than that!
